CARE SERVICES
At Shannon Lodge we cater for day care, short and long term residential guests, and convalescent care - each receiving the friendly yet efficient attention so necessary to make their stay with us as relaxed and homely as possible. Every patient, whether long term, short term, convalescent or day care, has their own individual care programme prepared based on their admission assessment. We strive to meet their personal requirements as well as their medical needs and encourage the patient's active participation in the preparation of their programme where possible. Whilst their medical assessment is of primary importance, the little things that can make life easier during the transition to a nursing home is also vital to their comfort - from their favourite food, to enjoying reading in a quiet room.

SERVICES AVAILABLE
A majority of our entertainment from live music performances to Irish dancing, bingo to quizzes, takes place in our bright and spacious day rooms. The day rooms are a focal point for our residents, where they relax and have a chat in a relaxed atmosphere. We provide a separate room for residents who like a smoke!
