Pet Therapy Afternoon at Shannon Lodge Nursing Home

Today at the Nursing Home all residents thoroughly enjoyed a visit from Ballinasloe based "Farmyard in your Schoolyard". The nursing home residents interacted with lambs, chickens, a rooster, dogs and rabbits.  The joy this brought to the residents was evident from their response to the animals and how they reminisced about their early years on farms growing up. It was a truly enjoyable afternoon for residents, staff and management.
