That time of year again, our annual trip to Knock. Great day had by all, we prayed for everyone, lit candles for many and we are enlightened until our next pilgrimage. Thanks to all the staff, the bus driver, and of course the residents for making this such a pleasurable journey/trip.

What's that we see in the sky, a yellow ball of heat and fun, came out to see us. Yes that's right we are outside enjoying that one day of summer we got, just like everyone else. Soaking up those rare rays of sunshine. Drinking al fresco, hits different when there is heat. Hopefully we'll get more of this sunshine yet. 

The residents went on a Lough Ree Boat Ride in 2023 and it was a firm favourite with all the residents, so we had to return for another trip. This year was no different and it was enjoyed by all, as the photos demonstrate. Tea and scones afterwards for a wee treat in the local cafe. Lovely day out by all again and a local attraction to boot, so no long journey. Again thank you to all in Lough Ree for a memorable outing, especially those driving the boat, who are so welcoming, even staff rave about how good they are with everybody.
